Book Review - Joker One

Joker one : a Marine platoon's story of courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood / Donovan Campbell.
This is a very good book covering a Marine Platoon's deployment in the Iraqi city of Ramadi.  It does not "sugar coat" the realities of war.  This book is honest in it's depictions of the personalities of the young Marines involved.  Campbell is honest in details of the successes and failures of his time in Iraq.  This is not a gung-ho - "Rambo" type of book.  It is a gritty picture of war and of the brotherhood of a group of young men.
